Virtually every company conducting business in the Netherlands must be registered in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce Trade Register.

Everybody who wants to do business in the Netherlands can rely on the information provided by the Trade Register about other companies, for instance, prospective Dutch partners, customers, or suppliers. The information in the Trade Register is accessible to the public.

Not only corporate data (such as legal form, etc.) can be derived from the Trade Register, but also information about the bodies and officials of the company, the authorities they may have to represent the company, the branches of the company, and its sole (100%) shareholder (if applicable).

Most companies registered with the Chamber of Commerce must file certain financial information about their company annually. Also, this information is accessible to the public. For more information about these filing requirements, please consult the page Filing Requirements with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

The persons responsible for registering and filing information with the Chamber of Commerce (usually the directors) may be liable for any omission or default in the registration and filing.

We have direct access to the Chamber of Commerce database and are gladly prepared to assist you with gathering information about your Dutch partners, clients, or suppliers. We can also deal with the registration requirements for your business.

Please feel free to contact us if you require more information.
